Each contributor receives a payment request and has a configurable window — default 72 hours — to enter their card. A hold is placed on each card the moment they confirm.
Once every contributor commits before the deadline, all holds are captured at the same moment. The full amount settles to the merchant in one clean transaction.
If the deadline passes with any contributor still outstanding, every hold is released immediately — including the initiator’s. No partial captures. No disputes. The merchant decides what happens to inventory.
